Microsoft Phish Alert Button (PAB) Install Instructions

This guide walks through installing the Phish Alert Microsoft app. The app must be installed by a Microsoft Global Admin in order to enable the app across all users in your organization. Once the app is installed, any employee that is an active Adaptive user will be able to report suspicious emails via the Adaptive Phish Alert Button in Outlook/Exchange.

  1. As a pre-requisite, a Microsoft Global Admin needs to accept permissions for the Phish Alert Button to call Graph API on behalf of users.

    1. Accept Microsoft Permissions to Authorize Graph APIs for the PAB (here)

    2. Accept additional Microsoft Permissions for the PAB (here)

  2. Click the following link to view our unlisted app in the Microsoft AppSource: https://appsource.microsoft.com/en-us/product/office/WA200007631?flightCodes=PhishAlert.

  3. Click “Get it now” to start the installation process.

  4. Ensure you select “Entire Organization” for Assign Users and click “Next”

  5. Click “Accept Permissions” and go through permissions flow.

  6. Click “Next” after accepting permissions

  7. Click “Finish deployment”

  8. The Phish Alert Button is now installed!
