Setting Up DMI for Phish Sim

Integrate with Microsoft 365 or Google Gmail DMI to insert emails directly to the inboxes of your employees

Updated over 4 months ago

Overview

DMI (Direct Message Injection) is a delivery method that allows simulated phishing emails to be inserted directly into users' inboxes.

Benefits

  • Bypasses the need for configuring and managing email gateway allowlists.

  • Guaranteed message deliverability

DMI setup requires that you get company specific values from your Adaptive account. You can view these (along with these instructions) by navigating to 'Settings' > 'Phishing' and choosing DMI in the Phishing Simulation Delivery Method

You can also use SMTP to delivery Phishing Simulations. Instructions for that setup live here.
