With Adaptive's 'Report Email' functionality and granular report filters, you can automate reports to send to anyone in your organization on a recurring cadence.

Use Cases
Weekly Manager / Department Phish Failure Report
Goal
Using this report you can alert individuals in an automated and repeatable way about which of their direct reports are failing phish simulations each week without ever having to log into the Adaptive platform.
Summary
Leverage the 'Employee Phishing Report' + report filters for Manager / Department and Employee Phishing Activity keep leadership up to date on specific groups of people who have failed phishing simulations.
High level setup steps
These setup steps will automate a report that is delivered to a manager weekly showing the phish failure actions from the previous week.
Navigate to the 'Employee Phishing Report' in the User Reports section of you Adaptive reports tab
Click 'Set up Report Emails' in the top right hand corner
Open the filter drop down and make the following selections:
For Employee Activity, select the actions you consider failures / want to alert managers about (the most common selections are: 'Has Clicked Link', 'Has Entered Credentials', and 'Has Played Deepfake')
For Manager Email, select the email of the person you want to notify
In the date filter, select 'Last 7 Days'
Complete the email details section with specific information for the send like:
Subject Line: {Manager Name}'s Team - Weekly Phish Failure
Send Frequency:
Starting = select the next monday on the calendar
Send report emails = Weekly
At = choose a preferred time
Recipients = enter the managers email that you selected in 3a above
Your final setup will look something like this.
Example Scenario
Mike is the Head of Platform Engineering at Adaptive
The 'Employee Phishing Report' is filtered to employees with him as their manager based on their User Profile data from integrations with third-parties like Okta and Google Workspace
It's also filtered to only show employees who clicked a link OR played a deepfake in a phishing simulation, since the base report includes all phishing activity -- even employees who didn't take a risky action (i.e. "passed" the test)
This report will send for the first time on Monday 7/14 and then send every Monday after that, showing him employees from the last 7 days with a 'phishing simulation click' or 'deepfake played' action
Monthly / Quarterly Repeat Failure Identification
Goal
Using this report you can find the count of phishing simulation failures for employees over a given timeframe. This allows you to report on failure counts without having to log into Adaptive, making your enforcement of policies related to Phish Failures much easier.
Summary
Leverage the 'Phishing Performance by Employee' report to easily see total failures for each employee + aggregate engagment counts for all phishing tests you've sent in a given timeframe.
High level setup steps
These setup steps will automate a report that is delivered to a manager weekly showing the phish failure actions from the previous week.
Navigate to the 'Phishing Performance by Employee' in the User Reports section of you Adaptive reports tab
Click 'Set up Report Emails' in the top right hand corner
Open the filter drop down and make any filter selections that may be relevant to you:
For example, if you want to send this list to the CTO you may want to add a DEPARTMENT = 'Engineering' filter
In the date filter, select 'Last 90 Days'
Complete the email details section with specific information for the send like:
Subject Line: {Department} Phish Failure + Activity Count
Send Frequency:
Starting = day of your preference
Send report emails = Every 3 months
At = choose a preferred time
Recipients = enter the managers email that you selected in 3a above
Example Scenario
Sean is the Head of HR at Adaptive
The 'Phishing Performance by Employee' report is sent to him on the first day of every new quarter
Sean can view the sorted report to find the total count of phish failures, failure rate, and other phishing activities in order to find people who have failed more than 3 times during the quarter.
People who have failed more than 3 times will have remediation action taken as part of their performance review + yearly bonus decisions.
Weekly Manager / Department Overdue Training Updates
Goal
Using this report, Andrew can be alerted to Overdue employees for direct follow up / intervention to ensure each week the number of Overdue trainings in his department is decreasing.
Summary
Leverage the 'Employee Training Status' report + Report filters for Campaign Manager / Department and Training Status to keep leadership up to date on people who have overdue training.
Example Scenario
Andrew is the Chief Product Office at Adaptive
The 'Employee Training Report' is filtered to his department ('Product')
If he just wanted to see his direct reports: You can filter this report by 'Manager Email' and select
[email protected]
from the filter drop down
It's also filtered to only show employees who have an overdue training, since the base report includes all training activity -- including employees who have already completed the training.
This report will send for the first time on Monday 7/14 and then send every Monday after that, showing him employees from the last 30 days with overdue trainings
Other examples
You would set up a unique 'Report Email' for each manager / department like the below:
Report Email Recipient: Zach (head of CS) Report Filters: Department = CS AND Training Status = Overdue
Report Email Recipient: James (VP on Engineering) Report Filters: Manager Email = [email protected] AND Training Status = Overdue
