What Are Modules?

Modules are training lessons you can assign to employees as part of a campaign. They cover a wide range of topics including security, HR, compliance, and more.

Adaptive's global modules use a mix formats like video, text, quizzes, and interactive exercises. All modules include optional audio narration and support translation into 38 languages.

Training Module Features

Video Controls

Global modules typically include short videos to increase engagement. Module videos give users controls to enhance the viewing experience:

  • Play / Pause

  • Volume adjustment

  • Progress bar navigation

    • Learners can scrub backward at any time. They can only skip forward up to the point they’ve already watched, ensuring they view the entire video

  • Closed captions can be toggled on/off

  • Playback speed

    • Learners can adjust speed, i.e. speeding up to 2× playback.

    • Note: if a module enforces Frame Timers, users won’t be able to adjust playback speed. This ensures you meet compliance requirements for training duration.
