Localizing phishing campaigns

Translate phishing campaigns into your preferred languages

Updated yesterday

Summary

Adaptive supports sending phishing simulations in 39 languages. Today, all 39 languages are available for the vast majority of our global scenario library.

Executive BEC scenarios are not translated, to prevent these emails from going out in languages that do not match executives' working languages.

What is Translated?

Global library scenarios are translated end to end. This means that the phishing message, the spoof page, the fail page, and all notification emails are localized.

Setting Campaign Language

When going through our campaign creation flow, you'll be able to select from two different localization options for your campaign.

  • Option 1: Localize scenarios to match employee's language
Choosing this option will take all scenarios that have translations available and send them to employees in each employee's preferred language.

  • Option 2: Send all scenarios in one language
With this option, you're able to set one language for your campaign. If you select this option, your employee preferences will be overridden and all scenarios will be sent in your chosen language.

Setting Employee Preferred Language

We determine your employees' preferred languages by checking for the language they set in their training app.

If your employee has not yet set a language in the training app, we check your primary integration for a language attribute value.

If your employee does not have a language set via your primary integration, we'll default their scenario to English.

Translating Custom Fail Pages

If you utilize Adaptive's custom fail page feature, you are able to translate your edits in the Fail Page manager under Settings -> Phishing.

Once you've made all your desired edits to the fail page, hit 'Generate' to automatically create translations for your custom page.
